If you are unhappy with your first Plus subscription, contact us within 14 days of that payment and we will refund it in full. This is on top of the statutory right of withdrawal that consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK already have.

Yes. There is a change-plan option in your account that opens our payment provider's own screen, which handles the switch and any proration.

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record and collect and remit any VAT or sales tax that applies where you live. The exact total is always shown before you confirm.

Our payment provider processes every payment in US dollars, so pricing in dollars is the only way the figure you see is the figure that is processed. If your card is in another currency your bank converts it at its own rate, and some banks add a foreign transaction fee. The exact dollar total is always shown before you confirm.

No. Card details go directly to our payment provider and never reach our servers. We keep only the card brand and last four digits so you can recognise which card is on file.

It means we do not put a number on ordinary use: keep every ticket, booking, reservation and scan for every trip you take. It is not a general file store, so only travel-document and image file types can be uploaded, and any single file has a size limit set well above what a real travel document needs. Photographs of the trip belong in the trip's photos, where they are organised by day, resized for printing and counted against your photo allowance. Pictures of paperwork are documents: a screenshot of a booking confirmation, a photographed parking sign or a scanned passport page all belong there. The difference is what the image is of, not what format it is in.

No. You can autocompose a complete day-by-day trip and plan every part of it for free: unlimited trips, cost splitting, packing lists, a one-off calendar download, view-only share links, and up to 3 invited travel companions per trip. Plus adds Autocompose inside existing trips, bigger autocomposed trips, unlimited collaborators, live calendar sync, GPX export, and more storage.

Every trip can be shared with up to 3 invited travel companions besides you, so a group of four plans together for free, and you can send a view-only link to as many people as you like. Plus removes the limit on invited companions. If a Plus subscription ends, nobody loses access: people already on a trip stay on it, you just cannot invite more until you are back under the limit.

On trips you own, yes. Your Plus applies to the trip itself, so everyone you invite can use Autocompose inside it, download its GPX, and subscribe to its calendar feed, without paying anything themselves. It works on your trips only: for their own trips they would need their own Plus. Storage works the same way it always has, counting against the trip owner's allowance.

Autocompose builds trips from real sights in open travel guides. Autocomposing a whole new trip in one go is free. What Plus adds is Autocompose inside a trip you have already started: filling a single day or every day at one stop, on the trip in front of you. It never suggests something already on your plan, it shows you exactly what it will add before anything is saved, and it leaves anything you wrote yourself untouched.

The free download gives you a one-off .ics file of the trip as it is right now, which you can import into any calendar app. Calendar sync, part of Plus, is a link your calendar subscribes to: change a departure time in the plan and the calendar entry changes too, without exporting anything again. A sync link you created while on Plus keeps working if the subscription ends.
